Oecologia Montana publishes original papers in mountain ecological research. All the results in which ecological ideas and methods are applied to the dynamic features of mountain ecosystems, population dynamics of plants or animals, wildlife protection, conservation, problems of pollution, land degradation, etc., may be published. All manuscripts submitted are considered for publication on the understanding that they have not been published elsewhere. Oecologia Montana includes articles ranging from forestry to alpine research. The journal is international medium in all fields of mountain ecology.
